whistling noise in boost

Does this "whistling" happen during full boost or during the transition to boost?


1. If it's happening in the transition to boost then it's more than likely the bypass valve closing on the blower.

2. If it's happening during full boost could it be the whining of the blower itself?

Part throttle whistle can usually be blamed on the throttle body butterfly pitched at a certain angle and the air moving around it makes a whistle. This is very noticable with a short ram intake.

it just started doing it yesterday,i know it whistles when you go from vac to boost but it still does it at full boost,it sound kind of neat.

my boost gauge is reading fine,its not showing a leak,i was wondering if it could be the cartech bleeding off boost or the bypass valve.
